IAF Recruitment 2020: New vacancies released for these aspirants; read details

Indian Air Force (IAF) has released a notification for the recruitment of Airmen in 'X' trades (except education instructor trade) and group 'Y' trades (except automobile technician, Indian air force (police), Indian air force (security) and musician trades) on its official website.

The application form for these vacancies will start from January 2, 2020, onwards. Therefore, interested and eligible candidates can apply for the vacancies on or before January 20, 2020.

As per the notification, the recruitment examination for the Airmen post will be held from 19 March and the exam will conclude on March 23, 2020.

Indian Airforce Airmen 2020:Payscale:

• Candidates who will qualify for the post will first have to undergo training and will get a stipend of Rs 14,600 per month.
• For Group X Trades (Except Education Instructor Trade): Selected candidates will get the Rs 33,100 per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) will be paid.
• For Group Y [Except Auto Tech, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician] Trades: Candidates who will select for the post will get Rs 26,900 per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) will be paid.

To apply for the examination, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 250.

Candidates who are applying for the position of Airmen should be born between January 17, 2000, and December 30, 2003, (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
