Sara Ali Khan spotted with cricketer Shubman Gill; are they dating?

Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan has become the talk of the town ever since she was spotted with cricketer Shubman Gill, sparking a dating rumour.

A video of the Bollywood diva and Team India cricketer having dinner at a fancy restaurant has gone viral on social media.

The video, which was shared by TikToker Uzma Merchant (@uxmiholics), showed both the celebs placing their order. The Atrangi Re actress was seen in a beautiful pink outfit while the cricketer looked dapper in a white and green shirt. The video was also shared on other social media platforms.

Fans of both the celebrities were surprised at the possible pairing. “kya chakkar hai,” commented a fan, while another wrote that the cricketer is obsessed with Sara. 

Interestingly, the Coolie No.1 actress was earlier rumoured to be dating actor Kartik Aaryan, which was also recently confirmed by Karan Johar. All these rumours started when Sara appeared in Karan Johar's show ‘Koffee With Karan’ in 2018. During the show, she said that Kartik Aaryan is an actor she found attractive. After that Sara and Kartik were cast together in the movie Love Aaj Kal, and that is where their rumoured romance started. However, the actors split in 2020 after the release of their movie. Before Kartik, the actress was also rumoured to be in a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput.

If we talk about Shubman Gill, the cricketer was rumoured to be dating Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, Sara Tendulkar. However, they both unfollowed each other recently on social media, this also ignite the speculation that Gill is now dating the actress.

Over the years, we have seen some iconic pairings between cricket and Bollywood. Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi married actress Sharmila Tagore, Virat Kohli is married to Anushka Sharma and now there are rumours that Sunil Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty is dating KL Rahul.

Sara Ali Khan is the granddaughter of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore. She made her debut with the 2018 film Kedarnath. The actress will be seen next with actor Vicky Kaushal in a film by Laxman Utek. 

On the other hand, Shubman Gill has won the player of the series awards in One Day Internationals (ODIs) against Zimbabwe and West Indies. He has so far played in 11 Tests and 9 ODIs for Team India.
