Cannes 2017 best looks: Pinks & blues no less dramatic than the reds

The Cannes Film Festival witnessed a number of celebrities grace the red carpet this year. From Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai, to Rihanna and Bella Hadid, here are some of our favourite looks.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor once again ruled the red carpet at Cannes this year as she showed up in a custom made Ellie Saab pink gown. With dramatic floor-touching sleeves and a belted chain that accentuated her curves, Sonam completed her red carpet look with accessories and danglers from Kalyan Jewellers.

Bella Hadid

America fashion model and celebrity Bella Hadid has been the talk of the town ever since her appearance at Cannes this year. She showed off her svelte figure and long legs in a soft pink gown by Alexandre Vauthier.

Uma Thurman

Uma Thurman, one of the jurors at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, graced the red carpet in a pale pink off-shoulder gown by Atelier Versace. Thurman’s glamorous look was inspired by Bridget Bardot and old Hollywood charm. We loved the layered detail on the gown and the stylish leg slit that flattered the actress to the hilt.

Jessica Chastain

Part of the Cannes Film Festival jury, Jessica Chastain stunned the red carpet with an avant-garde form-fitting lavender gown that featured a beautiful purple fringe that twirled as Chastain moved around on the red carpet.

Aishwarya Rai

Former Miss World and Bollywood's favourite stunned her fans when she showed up in a dreamy red gown with a fitted corset-styled bodice by Ralph & Russo. This was Aishwarya’s 16th appearance at Cannes in which she also presented her 2002 hit film Devdas.

Eva Herzigova

The 44-year-old model wowed the red carpet with a gold embellished Roberto Cavalli dress. She was one of the celebrities that sported the high slit trend prominent at Cannes Film Festival this year.

Hailey Baldwin

The 20-year-old starlet brought a dash of colour to the red carpet as she walked in an electric purple gown that was custom made by Twinset. The gown featured a halter neckline, a deep back and a train that flattered the actor amply.

Rihanna

Singer and songwriter Rihanna graced the red carpet with a bridal-inspired white gown by Dior and edgy sunglasses by Andy Wolf. Rihanna was in town to launch her Rihanna Loves Chopard jewellery line at Cannes this year.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika wowed the Cannes’ red carpet in an off-shoulder emerald gown by Brandon Maxwell. The model turned actress aptly teamed her outfit with heels by Chloe Gosselin and accessories by de Grisogono.
