India Post Recruitment 2019: 3650 vacancies released for 10th pass; apply before this date
India Post has begun its application process for the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks on November 1. Interested candidates have a great job opportunity to apply for 3650 vacancies released for GDS.
The last date to apply for the post is November 30, 2019. Therefore, aspirants should apply before the closing of the recruitment window.
The candidates who will qualify the exam will be posted at various locations in the Maharashtra circle (including Goa) such as Navi Mumbai, Solapur, Pune, Ahmednagar, Thane, etc.

There is a total of 3650 vacancies released for GDS.
Different branches for India Post GDS:
- Branch Postmaster (BPM)
- Dak Sevak
- Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)
Eligibility criteria Required:
Candidates who are willing to for the post should have passed class 10th from any recognized education board with passing marks in Maths and English. Candidates should have also studied the local language up to at least class 10.
India Post Gramin Dak Sevak Age limit
Aspirants should hold the minimum age limit of 18 years and the maximum age limit required to apply for the post is 40 years of age.
India Post GDS expected salary
Selected candidates will get the salary as per the following slab:
Minimum TRCA for 4 Hours/Level 1 in TRCA Slab
- BPM: Rs 12,000
- ABPM/Dak Sevak: Rs 10,000
Minimum TRCA for 5 Hours/Level 2 in TRCA Slab
- BPM: Rs 14,500- (Rs 14,500-Rs 35,480)
- ABPM/Dak Sevak: Rs 12,000- (Rs 12,000-Rs.24,470)
