Good news for UKPSC Civil Judge aspirants! Vacancies increased from 15 to 18 posts before prelims

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has given a huge sigh of relief for aspirants who are planning to apply for Civil Judge. UKPSC has extended the vacancies from 15 to 18. Therefore, candidates get more seats to get selected for the post of Civil Judge.

Also, UKPSC also extended the category-wise number of available vacancies, except for OBC category vacancies.

Previously, the number of vacancies for general categories was 6, now it has been extended to 16.

Category-wise vacancy update:

  • For Scheduled castes, vacancies have increased from 1 to 2.
  • For Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category, vacancies have extended from 1 to 3
  • UKPS has not released any vacancy update about Scheduled Tribe category in the initial advertisement and also no changes have been made.

This year, the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is expected to conduct the preliminary exam for selection of Civil Judge on September 1, 2019.
Judicial Services Exam Details:

UKPS paper will be of 3 hours and the admit card for the same has already been released on its official website.

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) Civil Judge prelims exam will be conducted in various places in the state like Haridwar, Haldwani, and Dehradun. The pre-exam will be objective in nature. There will be two parts in the question paper of civil judge prelims exam i.e. Part A and B.  In part A, there will be 50 general knowledge questions and part B will have 150 questions on Law.
