CBSE Term 1 Board Exam 2021 Date Sheet: Official exam schedule released for Classes 10th, 12th

CBSE term 1 exam date sheet 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official schedule for its term-I exam for both classes 10th, 12th on its official website.

As per the official schedule, CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams will be held in November-December.

For Class 10th students, term-1 exams will be started on November 30 and continue till December 11. While for class 12th students, the term-1 board exams will be conducted from December 1 to December 22.

According to CBSE’s controller of examinations, Sanyam Bharadwaj, the date sheets for the minor subjects will be sent to the schools as those will only be conducted by the schools but with the board’s question papers. The minor subject tests will be held on November 16 for Class 12 while for class 10, the exams will be held from November 17.

Bharadwaj further said that the board is likely to assign their own schools as exam centres.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, all the exam centres will be sanitized before the exams.
CBSE has bifurcated the board examinations into term 1 and term 2. The board will conduct the Term 2 exams between March-April 2022.

In the wake of the winter season, the board has decided to conduct the exams from 11:30 am instead of 10:30 am. All students will get 20 minutes to read the question paper.

For term 1 exams, candidates will have to appear for the objective-type questions. The duration of the exams will be 90 minutes.

As per CBSE, it will not place candidates in ‘pass’, ‘compartment’, or ‘essential repeat’ categories at the end of term 1 exams. Board will announce the final results only after conducting the term 2 exams.
