CBSE CTET Answer Key 2021: Here’s how to raise objections on preliminary answer key

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) answer key to be released soon. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not announced the official dates for the answer key and result. Once the answer key gets released, candidates will be able to check it on the official websites-- ctet.nic.in, cbse.nic.in.

This year, a total of 22 lakh (22,97,062) candidates appeared for the teacher eligibility test. CBSE conducted the CTET on January 31.

Candidates who have appeared for the CBSE CTET exam can raise the objection after the Board released the preliminary answer key. Last year, candidates challenged the answer key by paying a fee of Rs 1,000.

After the objection window closed, Board will announce the final answer key and then the result will be announced.

Here’s how to check CBSE CTET Answer Key 2021:

1. Visit the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in
2. Click on the link which says, “CTET Answer Key 2021”
3. A new page will appear
4. Check CTET January 2021 Answer Key Paper 1 and CTET January 2021 Answer Key Paper 2 shown on the page
5. Check answers
6. If required, take a print out

For paper 1, 12,19,220 students appeared and 10,77,842 candidates appeared in paper 2. The qualifying marks are 60 per cent.

Candidates who will qualify the paper 1 will be eligible to teach classes 1 to 5 while those who qualify the paper 2 will be eligible to teach in classes 6 to 8.

CBSE conducts CTET exams annually to fill the posts of teachers in government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Central Tibetan Schools, and other government schools, including those falling under the union territory areas.
