Virat Kohli to lead India in West Indies tour, youngster Shreyas Iyer, Khaleel Ahmed included

The squad for India's tour of West Indies was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Virat Kohli will lead the squad in all three formats with some youngsters included in the side for the T20I series. Washington Sundar, Rahul Chahar, Deepak Chahar, Khaleel Ahmed and Navdeep Saini got their chance after performing well for India A against West Indies A. 

Ajinkya Rahane and Wriddhiman Saha got their chance in the Test team with Hanuma Vihari and Mayank Agarwal, who performed well in Australia series.

India’s squad for 2 Tests: Virat Kohli (Captain), Ajinkya Rahane (VC), Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul, C Pujara, Hanuma Vihari, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant (WK) Wriddhiman Saha (WK), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav.

India will play a three-match T20I and ODI series along with two Tests which will be part of the inaugural ICC Test Championship. The T20I will be played in the United States of America from August 3.
