The only Sachin Tendulkar's record Virat Kohli won't be able to break

Indian run machine Virat Kohli has fashioned numerous milestones with his recent knock of 254 runs on the day 2 of the second Test against South Africa in Pune. The skipper surpassed Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag by knocking a record seventh double ton, which is the highest ever in Indian cricket.

Virat Kohli also edged past Australian batting legend Sir Don Bradman’s total of 6996 runs and went past the legend with most number of 150 plus scores as skipper.

Bestowing colossal amount of praise on Virat Kohli, Zimbabwe’s Brendan Taylor took to his official twitter handle and tweeted: “7 test double hundreds already. I’m sure @imVkohli will play for another 10 years which is scary to think what his numbers will be.”

On his tweet a fan commented: “It’ll Be Very Very Hard For Kohli to Break Sachin’s Record of Most Runs and Most Centuries In Test Cricket.”

To which, Brendan Taylor chose only one Sachin Tendulkar’s milestone that Kohli won’t be able to shatter.

“With respect to Sachin, the only record Virat won’t break is his 200 test matches. That’s just my opinion. Hopefully, no serious injuries or health concerns, because the whole world loves watching him,” Taylor replied.

Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar has had an of mark accomplishment with regards to Test cricket as he has world record number of runs 15,921 and 51 centuries to his ranks.

However, Virat Kohli is eager to keep his stats ticking as he has now knocked 7054 runs including 26 hundreds in red ball cricket.
