IPL 2018, RR vs DD: Gautam Gambhir wins the toss elects to bowl

Gautam Gambhir has won the toss and chose to field as has been the earlier trend. 

The Sunrisers Hyderabad retained their two of the most prominent players including David Warner and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. The franchise faced a big blow after the captain of the team David Warner was found involved in the infamous ball-tampering case. The incident finally resulted in a ban on David Warner from playing cricket for next 12 months which led to the subsequent ban being imposed on David Warner by BCCI that stopped the player from playing in India.

David Warner thus lost his IPL contract and .was replaced by New Zealand's present skipper Kane Williamson. The team now seems to have recovered from the shock and is ready to walk the road to IPL Trophy.

Manish Pandey was Hyderabad's costliest purchase - they secured him for a whopping Rs 11 crore.
