Virat Kohli dominated the Day 2 of the third Test against England at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Resuming from the overnight score of 124 for two, both Pujara and Virat played cautiously at the start of the session with slightly overcast but warmer conditions.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli smashed his 19th Test fifty and the fourth 50+ score in six innings in England while Cheteshwar Pujara brings up his 18th Test half-century and raised his bat towards the dressing room.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli joins former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and former cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi for scoring most times half-century in each innings of Test match.

Shikhar Dhawan scored 44 runs while KL Rahul scored 36 runs in their second innnings of third Test. Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara scored 56* and 54* runs respectively till lunch of third day at Nottingham.

India's pace bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya picked up his maiden five-wicket haul as India thrashed England for 161 in the first innings to strengthen the grip in the third cricket Test match.

Hardik Pandya became the second fastest Indian to take a fifer when he took just 29 balls to take five wickets while India's Turbanator Harbhajan Singh is on the top to take five-wicket haul when he took only 27 balls against West Indies in Kingston back in 2006.
