Here is what Rohit Sharma has to say about Virat Kohli and their run-out 'mishaps'

In the golden win over New Zealand, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and the explosive Indian opener Rohit Sharma played a very crucial role. The duo was the main highlight of the last match of three-match ODI series. They scored 230 runs with their partnership. And after the match, Rohit Sharma opened up about their past run-out mishap.

“The first few games we played, it did not come off but today (Sunday) I was quite determined to get the partnership going and it was important for us as it was the series decider. Glad we did not get run-out. We had a mishap couple of times in the middle but we stuck in the middle quite well, we rotated the strike well. It is always fun batting with you (Kohli),” the opener said.

“Generally when we play together we don't have to say much because we both understand where the game is going. We both think for the team so it's always great batting with him because you don't have to say much. We know if we play our games then the team will benefit and we can score big runs because we both want to play long,” Kohli responded.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's role were commendable in the series. The series win over New Zealand team was also Indian squad's seventh win in a bilateral series. Even though the Kiwi team had shown their strength in the final match. But they were not able to cross the performance of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have posted a video on their official twitter handle in which the captain and vice-captain of Indian cricket team can be seen taking their bromance to another level.
