In the era of technology and science, there are several telecom companies offering the latest features to its users. However, when anyone who’s ever lost their smartphone, it’s the most painful feeling for all. But imagine what tech giants might go through when they lost their phones. Longtime ago, iPhone 4 was lost in a pub while Google's Pixel 3 XL was reportedly found in a cab. Recently, Honor has witnessed something similar is offering Rs 4 lakh prize. But why and how? Here is a catch.

The Honor, who is on its way to launch a new phone, has recently lost the prototype of an upcoming phone in Germany. The Huawei sub-brand is also offering to pay EUR 5,000 (roughly Rs. 4 lakhs) to the person who finds and returns the smartphone.

Taking to Twitter, Honor Germany claimed that one of its employees has lost a smartphone on the ICE 1125 train from Dusseldorf to Munich in Germany on April 22. Following which the smartphone brand has announced the reward amount of Rs 4 lakh. As the company doesn't want its upcoming device to leak.

Notably, Honor is all set to introduce its new Honor 20 series phones on May 21 in London. However, it is speculated that he lost prototype phone could be one of the Honor 20 phones that it has lost.

Well, here’s a catch that one might only get the offer prize if he returns the phone before 21 May, as Honor may not be interested in getting the prototype back after the launch. Though, there’s still a lot of time for one to find and return the lost phone and earn the handsome reward.
