Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and Adani Group’s Gautam Adani have been leading the chart for the richest person in not just India but Asia as well. The duo are also in the list of top 10 richest persons in the world.

As maintained by the Forbes' "Real-Time Billionaires List" featuring the richest persons around the world, Mukesh Ambani features in the sixth spot, while Gautam Adani sits at seventh spot.

In the "Bloomberg Billionaires Index", Mukesh Ambani holds the eighth spot, and Gautam Adani is in ninth spot.

Reliance Industries Ltd chairman Mukesh Ambani has a net worth of $103.1 billion, as per Forbes' "Real-Time Billionaires List" on Tuesday. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index displays Ambani has a net worth of $101 billion.

On the contrary, as maintained by Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Gautam Adani has a net worth of $96.9 billion on Tuesday. Forbes' "Real-Time Billionaires List" exhibits Adani Group’s chairman Gautam Adani has a net worth of $100.9 billion.

Earlier, the Adani Group secured Holcim AG's cement business in India - ACC and Ambuja. In the meantime, India's biggest retailer Reliance would obtain dozens of small grocery and non-food labels as it aims to set up its own $6.5 billion consumer goods business to stand against foreign giants such as Unilever, according to Reuters.
