When Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan asked Gauri Shinde to replace this co-actress of Salman Khan; old video goes viral

From Student of the Year to Kalank, Alia Bhatt’s journey so far has been spectacular. The gorgeous actress won millions of hearts with her acting skills in films like Raazi, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi and others. After giving big hits to Bollywood, the actress is being trolled by netizens over ongoing nepotism debate on social media. Amid all this, an old interview is going viral on the internet wherein she can be seen talking about replacing another Bollywood actress for a role in Gauri Shinde's film Dear Zindagi.

In the throwback video, we can see Rajeev Masand asked Alia that the rumour around she replaced the actress in Dear Zindagi is true, to which she admitted to the fact. However, when he told her that it was Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar who convinced Gauri Shinde to replace with her as that actress wouldn’t look too young for the role, to this she replied, “That I don’t know about. I know that there was someone else on board earlier and then there was a conversation about maybe going to me and that's all I know."
