Bollywood singer Monali Thakur who crooned everyone to her beats left everyone including her Bollywood friends in shock. Recently, in an interview, the Swaar Loon fame singer dropped the bomb that she got married to her boyfriend Maik Richter and that too 3 years ago.

Yes, you read it right! Singer-Actress kept this big secret in her stomach well that she got married to her boyfriend-now husband in 2017. Monali got married to Maik in Switzerland and while getting chatty she said that they have been successful in hiding it for the past 3 years.

Monali went on to reveal how Maik popped the question, she said that he proposed her exactly under the same Christmas tree under which they had first met. She further added that her marriage news will come as shock to everyone including her industry friends as she didn’t invite them too at her wedding.

She further opened up as to why they kept the news under wraps and said that they have been looking for an appropriate occasion to get married publicly and that the original ceremony wasn’t a completely conventional one. She further added, “ Mujhe pata hai bahot gali padne wali hai logon se, but I think when we have our wedding ceremony and invite people for the celebrations, they won't be upset anymore.”

Monali also revealed how she met Maik on her trip to Switzerland and instantly hit it off. Well, not just him she even clicked with his family too. Since then the actress is living with her husband in Switzerland.

 

Well, not many must be knowing that Maik will also be a part of Monali’s new song Dil Ka Fitoor and the poster of her song even featured Maik with her.
