Vijay Deverakonda to make Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Hindi remake of 'Dear Comrade'?

Director-producer Karan Johar has just announced the Hindi remake of Telugu film Dear Comrade, starring Vijay Devarkonda and Rashmiksa Mandanna. This is being called as one of the most anticipated Vijay Devarkonda after a monstrous hit Arjun Reddy. Since the trailer of Dear Comrade has come out it has made a huge buzz around fans.

Recently, Karan Johar shared a poster of the film and praised the leading actors Vijay Devarkonda and Rashmiksa and also announced Hindi remake of the film. This has become a more interesting announcement after Vijay Devarkonda starrer Arjun Reddy's Hindi remake Kabir Singh has done an amazing collection at the box office. It even has turned out Shahid Kapoor's biggest blockbuster ever.

Karan Johar wrote, "Had the pleasure to be the first to see #dearcomrade ! What a powerful and intense love story !!! Top notch performances by @thedeverakonda and @rashmika_mandanna !! The film is exceptionally moving and leaves you with such an important and relevant message! Strongly directed by debut director @bharatkamma and wonderfully produced by @mythriofficial !! Well, reports are also that Vijay Devarkonda can make his Bollywood debut with Hindi remake of Dear Comrade. Actually, Vijay Devarkonda himself has given a hint on the casting. Vijay Devarkonda replied to Karan Johar's tweet, "So proud to have this man, watch, love and be the one to remake our baby #DearComrade in Hindi. Team Dear Comrade.

However, there is no official confirmation about Vijay Deavarkonda's casting but it looks like that Karan Johar will soon announce the casting. Interestingly, Karan Johar already has bought the rights of Tamil hit film Geresy as well.
