Akshay Kumar is on a high these days. Earlier this month he bagged the National award for his film Rustom and Airlift and now the actor meets PM Narendra Modi in Delhi to talk with him about his next film.

Akshay Kumar shared a photo of him and PM Modi (discussing the story of the film) on social media and said, “‪Met PM Narendra Modi and got the opportunity to tell him about my upcoming film 'Toilet - Ek Prem Katha.' His smile at just the title made my day!” (Sic)

The film is a satirical comedy film about PM Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a governmental campaign to improve the sanitation conditions in India, with emphasis on the reduction of open defecation in public areas, especially in the rural areas of India.

The film is written by Sidhharth and Garima, directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey and stars Bhumi Pednekar with Akshay in the lead role. The cast also includes Anupam Kher and Sana Khan in supporting roles and is slated to release on August 11.
