Record Alert : Baahubali 2 emerges India's biggest blockbuster, crosses the lifetime collections of Aamir Khan's Dangal in 5 days

It's a history! SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion has emerged as the biggest blockbuster in the history of Indian cinema. Jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao and Prasad Devineni, the war drama is a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster film Baahubali: The beginning. Baahubali 2 stars Prabhas and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.

Catch had previously reported that Baahubali 2 emerged as the all-time highest opener of Indian cinema. And now, the SS Rajamouli film has emerged as the all-time biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema.

Baahubali 2 has reportedly minted nearly Rs. 70 crore on Tuesday with more than Rs. 30 crores raked in alone from the Hindi dubbed version of the film. At the end of 5 theatrical days, the total all India collection of Baahubali 2 stands at Rs. 450 crore, which is now the all time highest grosser ever in Indian cinema history. The film also overpowered the lifetime collections of Aamir Khan blockbuster Dangal at the Indian Box Office. The Aamir Khan starrer has minted an overall collection of Rs. 387 crore, whereas Baahubali 2 surpasses the numbers in just 5 theatrical days.

Baahubali 2 also stars Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar and Tamannaah Bhatia.
