Sachin Tendulkar urges bikers to wear helmet

Be it on a cricket pitch or on roads, HELMET is indeed important. Hence, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has asked everyone: "Helmet Dalo".

India has a dubious record of having the most road traffic accidents and fatalities in the world, barring China. There are over five lakh accidents which take place every year in which thousands of people lose their lives.

The legendary cricketer on 9 April, 2017 tweeted a video wherein he is asking two young boys to put on helmet as they ride a scooter.

He also asks another person, who is riding a motorbike with a woman, to put on helmet for safety.In the 19-second video, the two boys are trying to take a selfie with Tendulkar but he in turn says, "Promise me one thing, next time you will use a helmet. It is dangerous for you like this. Life is precious. Is that a promise? 100 percent?"

While they managed to get a selfie with 43-year-old, they also promise him to use a helmet next time.

It should be noted that India has a dubious record of having the most road traffic accidents and fatalities in the world, barring China.

There are over five lakh accidents which take place every year.
