Vidya Balan avoids a clash with Padmavati

Vidya Balan’s upcoming film Tumhari Sulu was announced a long time ago. The film was supposed to release on December 1 this year. However, the makers recently released a teaser and declared that their film has will now release one week in advance. A source says, “It was smart move of the producers to change the release date instead of having a box office clash with another big film Padmavati.”

There have been a lot of speculations about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati and its release date. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor and the filmmaker had to face lot of trouble while completing the film. It was reported that the film might not release this year however the makers released the first poster and declared their new release date as December 1. Earlier the film was to release on November 17.

Although Vidya’s film is not releasing on same day, Umesh Shukla’s 102 Not Out is set to release on same day December 1. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor.
