Take stunning pictures? Enter the #SnapCatch Street Photography contest and prove it to us

Catch Team | Updated on: 27 August 2015, 10:43 IST

19 August is World Photography day - and Catch wants to take photography out of the studios and bring it back to the streets.

Very few things encapsulate the madness that is the human condition better than life on the street. The hustle and bustle, the noise, the colour and the chaos are the perfect metaphor for life.

It's not surprising that some of the world's most iconic photographers kicked off their careers on the street - from Henri Cartier Bresson to Garry Winogrand.

Now Catch News is looking for the next great Indian street photographer.

From the 19th to 30th of August, we invite you to capture the essence of the street in your own unique way - in just one photo. A great camera doesn't make a great photo, a great eye does. So go ahead and use you mobile phone or DSLR camera and get a great shot.

Five winning entries will be selected. The winners will get the incredible opportunity to meet legendary photographer S Paul.
