Shocking! 36-year-old woman who climbed mountains in Bikini freezes to death after fall; says friend on call ‘unable to move'

In a severe incident, a 36-year-old bikini hiker frozen to death on the side of a mountain in Taiwan. Gigi Wu, a Taiwanish woman, who had climbed mountains in a bikini was found frozen to death after suffering a bad fall during her last challenge.

Wu was passionate about climbing mountains. She had ascended many of Taiwan’s tallest mountains and she captured a legion of followers on social media for her saucy snaps taken from their peaks.


 

Gigi Wu used a satellite phone on Saturday to tell friends she had fallen down a ravine in Taiwan's Yushan national park and badly injured herself.

Rescue helicopters struggled to reach her because of bad weather and officials eventually located her lifeless body on Monday.

"The weather conditions in the mountains are not good, we have asked our rescuers to move the body to more open space and after the weather clears we will make a request for a helicopter to bring the body down," Lin Cheng-yi, from the Nantou County Fire and Rescue Services, told reporters.

Wu, who is also known as Wu Chi-yun, set out on a solo hike on January 11. Officials said Wu had told friends she was unable to move the lower half of her body after a fall of some 20-30 metres (65-100 feet) but was able to give her coordinates.
