Rocket attack kills 12 civilians in Afghanistan's Faryab province

At least 12 civilians were reportedly killed in a rocket attack in Afghanistan's Faryab province, local officials said on 12 August.

Tolo News quoted local officials as saying that children and women were among the victims, who were killed after a rocket hit a village in Dawolat Abad district on 11 August.

No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
