Nevada: Passenger abused for speaking Spanish

The United States finds itself plunging deeper into intolerance, as another man found himself on the receiving end of a brutal racist tirade while waiting in the Reno airport, in Nevada.

Hector Torres, found himself being verbally attacked after a having a conversation with his mother in Spanish.

The attacker, Mike, was filmed shouting profanities at Torres accusing him of, "Speaking in Spanish when everyone else is f****** English speaking American."

Torres filmed the ex-military and demanded an apology. The airport authorities soon intervened and stopped the conflict.

CNN reported that the Reno-Taheo Airport Authorities apparently did not allow Mike and his family to board their flight.

The President and CEO of Reno- Taheo Airport Authorities released a statement saying, "The Airport Authority is deeply saddened to see this type of situation occur at our airport. Every passenger, regardless of race, religion, and the language they speak, nation of origin, sexual orientation, age or political belief is welcome at Reno-Tahoe International Airport."
