I’m flying to Bali this afternoon on the back of news there was another earthquake only 97km from Denpasar. Last time I was there, the major quake hit Lombok. Anxiety levels increasing 😩 pic.twitter.com/kiSeRjjNFV— Ryan Shinn (@shinnryanf) December 6, 2018
So Lombok hit 5.5 Magnitude amd the depth is 40km. So that's why bali can feel its. Its not far from surface. But determining the depth of an earthquake is typically more challenging than location, unless there happens to be a seismic station close and above the epicenter.— Mal-Mal (@MABMA96) December 6, 2018
However, no casualties have been reported yet.
