Wedding album: Sania Mirza's sister Anam ties the knot

Just a few days ago, Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza's younger sister Anam Mirza tied the knot. Anam, who is an aspiring journalist (that's what her Instagram account says) got married to her fiance Akbar Rasheed in a traditional ceremony. However, what followed was a lavish post-wedding event at the grand Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, the same place where Salman Khan's baby sister Arpita Khan got married last year.

Both Sania and the bride wore Manish Malhotra's outfits and even posed for the shutterbugs. While Sania wore a brown voluminous lehenga, bride Anam looked beautiful in a pink embellished lehenga from the designer's latest collection. Only close relatives and family members were invited to the ceremony.
