Roger Federer, world number three, suffered a setback when he was stunned by German teenager Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals of Halle Open on 18 June.

The 17-time grand slam champion went down 6-7, 7-5, 3-6 against the German in the match that lasted for over two hours.

With the win, 19-year-old Zverev became the first teenager to beat the Swiss giant since the current world number three fell to Andy Murray at the Masters 1000 event in Cincinnati in 2006.

38th-ranked Zverev will now meet the winner of the other semi-final between Austrian Dominic Thiem and German Florian Mayer in the Gerry Weber Open, a tune-up event for Wimbledon.
