Australian Open: India's Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan enters pre-quarters

India's star tennis player Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan have won their respective matches and entered the pre-quarterfinals of the Grand Slam Australian Open doubles event of the year. Bopanna beat João Sousa of Portugal and Leonardo Mayer of Argentina, along with his French partner Eduard Roger-Wasselin in the Man Doubles section played on Friday.

Meanwhile, Divij Sharan, along with his American partner Rajeev Ram, entered in the third round by defeating Italian Fabio Foginii and Marcel Granollers of Spain. Sharan and Rajiv won the second round of Man Doubles and made it to the pre-quarterfinals.

In addition, Pavic and Marach won the match by defeating New Zealand's Artem Sitak and Wesley Koolhof of Holland 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 6-4 in straight sets. Eduard and Bopanna paired Joao and Mayer 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) in the second round, then Divij Sharan and Rajiv Ram beat Fabio Foginii-Marcel Granollers 4-6, 7-6 (7-4). ) And 6-2 in the final 16.


Sharan came under some pressure in the second set but he was very good in the net. Last year, Sharan joined the Purav Raja in the third round of the French Open. He also reached the third round of the US Open in 2013.
