Shweta Tiwari breaks silence on trouble marriage with Abhinav Kohli, says ‘kyun nahi hosakta doobara’
Popular TV actress Shweta Tiwari who grabbed eyeballs from Ekta Kapoor’s famous show Kasautii Zindagii Kay is once again coming back on the small screen with Varun Badola in Meri Dad Ki Dulhan. The actress has faced many challenges in her life due to her unsuccessful marriages, earlier with her first husband Raja Choudhary and now with Abhinav Kohli. A few months ago the actress filed a complaint against her second husband for domestic violence and inappropriate behaviour with his step-daughter Palak Tiwari.
Since then the actress never talked about her issues with Abhinav, however, recently in the press conference of her upcoming show she broke her silence over her troublesome marriage. During the interaction, Shweta was asked what message she has for women who face domestic violence. Hearing this she gets irked but still, she clears the sir by saying that many people come up to her and says, “Achha? Dobara bhi problem? Aisa nahi ho sakta. She questions media by saying, “Kyun nahi ho sakta” and further added that at least she has guts to come out and take a stand without societal pressure.

She continued that many people indulge in infidelity even after marriage, however, she is better than all of them as she dared to say “I don't want to stay with you”. On message to women who are facing domestic violence she said, “yes, I want to set an example for all those women who will be suffering under the fear of societal pressures and not come out in the open to share their disturbing incidences.”
