Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Mihika aka Avantika Hundal’s father Navtej Hundal passes away on 8th Monday. He is not just her father but was also a Bollywood actor who was last seen in Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike as Home Minister Aditya Dhar. He is survived by his wife Neelam and two daughters.
Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) took to their official twitter handle and shared this sad news where they wrote, "#CINTAA expresses its deepest condolence on the demise of Shri Navtej Hundal. May his soul rest in peace. The cremation is at Oshiwara Crematorium, Relief Road, Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari (W) at 11 am,"

Apart from Uri, he has also done films like Tere Mere Sapne (1996), Khalnayak (1993), The Whispers (2009), Angaaray among others. He has also done TV shows like Bharat Ek Khoj and also conducts acting classes.
