For those who have never seen the typhoon-like turbulence that is the prison drama, Orange is the New Black, won't understand how big a deal it is that the trailer for Season 4 shows new rules, several new faces and a whole lot of new drama.

The series premiered in 2013 and has a mammoth cast with Taylor Schilling, Uzo Aduba, Kate Mulgrew, Laura Prepon, Laverne Cox, Dascha Polanco, Danielle Brooks, Selenis Leyva, Samira Wiley, Taryn Manning, Yael Stone, Jackie Cruz, Lea DeLaria, Adrienne C Moore, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Michael Harney and Nick Sandow.

The story is based on former inmate Piper Kerman's memoir, Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison. The show has been created by Jenji Kohan and will have three more seasons post this.

The trailer shows the trials of Litchfield Penitentiary, a US minimum-security women's federal prison at the hands of inexperienced guards, and an impending culture war that will definitely get ugly.

If the trailer is any indication of what the series is going to be like, you might want to strap the seat belts on. And keep a gigantic supply of buttery popcorn ready, it's going to be exciting. This season will have 13 episodes as well and will be released on 17 June, on Netflix.
