Anil Kapoor: No films for eight months, I want to give my best for 24 season 2

Anil Kapoor, satisfied with his performance and the audience appreciation for his latest film Welcome Back, is gearing up for his TV series 24.

During a chat with Catch, the actor revealed, "I am doing two films, No Entry 2 and Aankhen 2. However we have not locked the shooting dates as of now."

No films for the coming 8 months:

The actor who showed versatility in acting by essaying two completely different characters back to back in Dil Dhadakne Do and Welcome Back, is now devoting all his time for the second season of his upcoming television show 24 which will be aired on Colors.

"I am currently working on my look for second season of 24. We have locked the script, screenplay, director and we start shooting it very soon. I will take around 8 months to finish shooting the second season for 24 and till that time I won't be doing any other films as I want to give my best for 24."

The first season of 24 redefined Indian television as it exposed the audiences to a world way beyond CID and ACP Pradyuman.

Anil Kapoor promises:

"The second season will be way more gripping and thrilling than the first season. We have officially taken the rights to produce 24 in India. However, like the first part, we have made many changes to appeal to the Indian audience. My character Jai Singh Rathod and my family will be a part of second season however the situation over here will be more challenging than the earlier part."

Looking forward to May 2016:

The first season of 24 went on air in October 2013 and the second season go on air from April/May 2016.

"We start shooting in a couple of weeks for 24 Season Two. The shoot will go on for 8 months and after that the show will go on air. We are eyeing April/May spot for the second season however the final decision will be taken by the channel."
