Komolika aka Hina Khan of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 all set to make her Bollywood debut through this exciting project
Worked as a sanskari bahu Akshara in Star Plus’ one of the most hit and long running shows of the recent time, Hina Khan became the girl of every house. She later went on to wipe out her fear and inhibitions and tried Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8 where her motto of girl power caught everyone’e attention. Later, the actress became a part of the reality show Bigg Boss 11 where she received both love and backlash because of her equation with Shilpa Shinde and soon after she stepped out of the house, she grabbed one of the most exciting and contrasting role of Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
From the past few days, she is absent from the show and everyone was wondering if she is planning something exciting. Well now, the curtains are raised from her reason and there is some good news for her fans as Hina will soon be making her Bollywood debut. It is being said that she has bagged a great B’wood project with Hussain Khan's untitled film which will be written by Rahat Kazmi and Shakti Singh.
A source was quoted by Bombay Times as saying, "Hina will soon begin shooting for a film, in which she will play a responsible and independent girl. The story is set in Kashmir in the 90s. Veteran actress Farida Jalal will play her grandmother.” Even Hina during an interview that she gave said, "It's a female-centric story. I also love the fact that it's set in a time and place, where we are away from the hustle and bustle of city life, technology, daily rush and competition. I am also thrilled about challenging myself in a brand new medium."
She even opened up about her absence from Kasautii and said she will soon be back on the shoot once she is free from her film. She said, "I had prior commitments and the production house was informed about it before I was even signed on to play Komolika. Since the show hasn’t even completed six months, the makers didn’t want my track to start and then disappear for a bit. I will start shooting for the show immediately after my film’s shoot."
