Ishqbaaaz New Season: Will Gul Khan bring the iconic couple Shivaay-Anika aka Nakuul Mehta-Surbhi Chandna back?
There are very few shows that come on the Television these days and stay in the minds and hearts of the audience for a long time. One such has been Ishqbaaaz created by Gul Khan that gained a lot of popularity because of many reasons be it her story line, setup, characters, dressing style and last but not the least the lead Jodi of Shivaay and Anika played by Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna. The show went off-AIR few months back but each and every day, the fans of the show wait for any announcement either of a new season of the show or for the same cast in some other show.
A few days back there were reports that claimed that the cult show of the year 2002 would be coming back on the screen with a second season Sanjivani 2 and the makers have roped in Surbhi for the lead role. Moreover it was being said that Nakuul will also be a part of the show but till now no official announcement about the same has been made. The reason why the fans want the makers to consider the two looking at the fame that the two brought to the show. Although the TRPs weren’t that high for Ishqbaaaz but the fan following was in huge numbers.
Ishqbaaaz even came up with a part two where the focus drifted to Shivaay and Anika’s son Shivaansh’s love life but the news that shocked everyone was that the major cast of the original show including Surbhi and other such as Shrenu Parikh, Kunal Jaisingh, Mansi Srivastav and Leenesh Matto left the show. Soon the social media got filled with tweets saying that the fans want Surbhi in the show with Nakuul else they want the show to end and hashtags such as #ENDISHQBAAAZ and #NOSURBHINOISHQBAAAZ started trending.
However, the show began with a new actress Manjiri Pupala who could not show her charm and that is the reason why the makers roped in Niti Taylor for a role opposite Nakuul and was also loved by the fans but everyone wanted Surbhi back. Soon the show went off AIR and fans went into disappointment. Now do you think the makers will come up with a second season of the show?
