Get ready for India's most expensive television show like 'Baahubali'

After the magnum opus 'Baahubali' on the silver screen, get ready for a television show like the grand movie. In the history of Indian television, it is for the first time that a show on television is being made with a budget of Rs 500 crores.

The show which is going to be telecast on Sony Channel is 'Porus' based on great warrior 'Porus'. It is a story of the first protector of India's frontiers, who secured the Indian border from Alexander The Great by his bravery.

It means this historical show will show the story based on 350 years ago era. In this show, Laksh Lalwani will play leading role of Porus and Rohit Purohit will be seen playing villain Alexander The Great.

Earlier also Indian television has seen many expensive shows and it is Siddharth Kumar Tiwary, who made most expensive Mahabharat, who has taken this risk to make a 500 crores' television show. The show is being shot in Thailand and almost 260 episodes have been shot. The production house had spent 1 crore per episode in the shooting.
