RK Narayan’s popular show from 1986 was filmed both in English and Hindi. The show set in a village, Agumbe in Karnataka narrates the story about a character named Swami who tries his best to stay away from school and play out with his friends. The show is available on Amazon Prime.

Helmed by Nupur Asthana, went on air in 1998 is based on the college drama. The show narrates the story about the 12th-grade students at DeNobili High School and their adventures, relationships, hopes, interactions and fears. It is one of the best narratives so far that depicts college life in such a realistic way. The show is available on Zee 5.

3. Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai

 

Well, this show is something people will not like to list and will be on their watch list forever. The show is all about humour and wittiness, the fight between Maya and Monisha is full of sophistication while the highlight of the show is Roshesh’s poetry which will make you feel like Indravadan (his father). Shah Rukh Khan’s debut show which aired on DD National in 1989 was all about the training of an Indian Army commando regiment. The show is very much available on Amazon Prime.

Hring bhring sarwaling bhoot bhavishya vartaman badling who all remember this magical chant. The show that went on air in 2003 is one of the favourite shows of 90’s kids.
