But using these applications, any cases of fraud on social media come to light in our day to day life. Therefore, it is necessary to get the verified account so that cybercrime cases can be minimised.

You all have seen the blue tick in front of the prominent personalities name and many of us also wanted to be like that. So, Jack Dorsey, CEO, Twitter has announced to provide the blue tick verification process to all the Twitter users for their identity on social media.

Now, the better version of the verification system is coming soon to Twitter. All the above information was given by Dorsey during a Periscope live stream. Twitter's latest effort is to promote the civil debate on the platform.

As per the micro-blogging site officials, 'they want to be the most trusted service in the world.' However, the CEO Dorsey didn't release that whether this process also needs the submission of the Facebook profile, phone number, email address or a government-issued photo ID for the verification process.

Meanwhile, the blue tick has become the symbol of status. It was introduced in 2009, which distinct the users whether they are celebrities, athletes, public figures or other prominent personality.

Later, the badge was rolled out to journalists and other Twitter users also. Users have to apply for a reason that why they want a blue tick for themselves.
