Xiaomi Mi 7: CEO announces introduction of in-display fingerprint scanner feature soon

The CEO Lie Jun of Chinese tech giant and smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi announced to give In-display fingerprint scanner in Xiaomi Mi 7 model. The smartphone technology is evolving every day and putting huge challenge in front of the smartphone brands to give something advance and fascinating to their customer. On Chinese microblogging website Weibo, a user mentioned that Xiaomi will include ' in-display fingerprint sensor' in its new flagship smartphone Mi 7, Xiaomi CEO replayed to the thread in affirmation, though this is not an official statement.

 


Last year in the Snapdragon technology summit in Hawaii, Xiaomi made an announcement to include Snapdragon 845 processor in its flagship smartphone Mi 7. Xiaomi is all set to launch Mi 7 in upcoming months, it will be a successor of Mi 6 and the first smartphone to have Snapdragon 845 processor. There are other brands are also competing alongside, One plus 6 has also announced to include Snapdragon 845 processor and on another hand, Vivo has already launched its first phone with ‘in-display fingerprint sensor’.

According to the some leaked reports and render of Mi 7, which was released unofficially on the Nigerian website Ninjatech, Mi 7 will have the 5.65-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080, some reports also speculating on 6-inch bezel-less OLED screen. It will get a combination of 16MP + 16MP dual rear cameras along with massive 4,480 battery. Mi 7 could be launched in 2 variants with 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage and 8GB RAM/128 GB internal storage. Other speculated features are wireless charging, 3D facial recognition or same face ID system as iPhone X.
