Lenovo S5 launch: AI, face-unlock and more to give a tough fight to the likes of Redmi 5

The Chinese smartphone company Lenovo has come up with its latest smartphone Lenovo S5. The company is going to launch the device officially on March 20. Lenovo has also launched teaser for the smartphone, The company has announced that it will provide the features of Artificial Intelligence in the smartphone. The smartphone works on Android Oreo ZUI 3.5 OS. The device can be viewed on the company's website with the code Lenovo K520.

The phone comes with a 5.65 full display with a screen resolution of 2160x1080 Pixels. The phone comes with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. The phone is available in 2 variants, one with 3GB RAM and 32 GB ROM and the other with 4GB RAM and 64 GB of ROM. The storage capacity can be expanded using a MicroSD card upto 128 GB.

Notably, the Lenovo S5 will come with a Face Unlock feature along with the fingerprint scanner. The teaser also hinted at an artificial intelligence (AI) powered smart engine on the smartphone. Other than this, Lenovo promises a long-lasting battery life in the smartphone along with the latest ZUI version.

The phone has been reported to come with a 3000 mAh battery. The phone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 625 SoC. The phone may also come with an 18:9 display with the feature gradually becoming a norm now.
