IRCTC Railway Ticket booking: Updated Rail connect app allows fast booking of Tatkal tickets; here is the easy steps
Indian Railway ticket booking service has been enhanced on IRCTC app and now Tatkal booking of railway ticket has become more convenient. Booking of 'Tatkal ticket' requires fast processing service as thousands of people try to do booking at the same time. Indian Railways has integrated the wallet payment option in IRCTC app which allows saving the time of making payment during tatkal booking. Under this scheme, users will be able to book both normal reservation and tatkal ticket at “IRCTC Rail connect app” by making payment through e-wallet. IRCTC gave this detail on its Twitter handle.
IRCTC e-wallet is just like Paytm wallet, which allows its users to add money in advance. It cut the time of making payment and filling details of debit and credit card at the time of booking. IRCTC said on its official website.

To book the ticket under e-wallet service takes the six-step, in the first step you need login into the IRCTC account. There you will get an option of Plan my Travel under wallet registration option. In the third step, you need to add the details of PAN card, Aadhhar Card or any other ID card. In the fourth step, you had to pay the processing fee of Rs 50 which can be paid by any online medium. In the fifth step, you have to add minimum Rs 100 or the amount of reservation, maximum Rs 10000 can be added here.
The IRCTC Rail connect app also did a collaboration with OLA cab to provide cab services directly through its platform.
