Airtel vs Reliance Jio: Taking the price war forward, Airtel launches an amazing Rs 249 data plan; see how different it is from the rest

In rivalry with Reliance Jio, Airtel is continuously bringing the new offers for their customers. In the recent launch, the telecom operator has released a new data plan of Rs 249. The company has also revised the existing data plan of Rs 349. The customers can avail the recharge of Rs 249 from the My Airtel application or its website. Under the new tariff plan, users will get the data of 2GB for 28 days validity along with unlimited voice call and roaming calls. The customers will also get 100 free SMS daily. This plan is the third major plan in the series of other plans like the postpaid plan of Rs 649 and prepaid plan of Rs 499.

Airtel has launched this new data plan of Rs 249 against the Reliance Jio plan of Rs 198. Both the plans are giving 56GB of data for 28 days. Along with the new data plan company also revised its another data plan of Rs 349 in comparison to the Reliance Jio Plan of Rs 299. Airtel is now giving increased the data limit from 2.5GB per day to 3GB per day. Where Reliance Jio was giving 84GB data for 28 days in Rs 299 plan, Airtel has tried to fill the gap, previously the telecom company was giving 70GB data in Rs 349 plan but now it is also giving 84GB data for 28 days. Alongside, the customers will get unlimited voice call and 100 free SMS per day. Airtel could possibly bring the more plans to counter its biggest rival Reliance Jio.
