This is why Ronaldo ends 9-year Madrid career, joins Juventus

After returning from the FIFA World Cup 2018, Cristiano Ronaldo said, "It is time for a new stage in life". Real Madrid club announced the transfer of Ronaldo to Juventus Football Club.

According to Spanish media reports, this move would cost the later club 105 million euros ($120 million). It is expected that the football superstar Ronaldo will sign a contract of four-year of 30 million euros per season. Next week, the 33-year-old legend is about to have his medical in Turin, northern Italy.

A statement posted in the Real Madrid website said, "Today Real Madrid want to give thanks to a player who has demonstrated he is the best in the world and who marked one of the most brilliant periods in the history of our club and world football."

Reading this post, Ronaldo said, "Time in the Spanish capital, during which I became record goalscorer, had been one of the happiest in his life," He also added that he has feelings of huge thanks for this club, for the fans and for this city. But, he believes that it is time for him to open a new stage in life and that's why he asked the club to accept to transfer him. He said, "I ask everyone, and especially our supporters, so please understand me."
