One of the nation's finest cricket analysts, Harsha Bhogle, picked up his players to constitute his IPL All-Time XI team and declared MS Dhoni as the captain.

The cash-rich Indian Premier League completed 10 glorious years and churned out many talented players during the course.

Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians won the latest edition by defeating Rising Pune Supergiants by one run. Sharma has become one of the most successful IPL captains after registering 3 trophies to his name.

However, Bhogle has selected Dhoni to lead his playing 11. Dhoni's team has made it to the finals of the IPL 7 times in 10 years. He has won the title 2 times as CSK captain.

In his video blog of Cricbuzz, Bhogle said, “Now depending on which way you look at it, picking an IPL (Indian Premier League) team of the past 10 years can either be great fun or it can be enormously difficult...can be gut-wrenching and you are sitting there almost as if you think ‘wow I own these careers’, at which point I decided it’s just a fun exercise. So I’ve treated it as a fun exercise.”

Here is the list of Harsha Bhogle's playing XI:

Chris Gayle, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Shane Watson, MS Dhoni (C/WK), Dwayne Bravo, R Ashwin, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Lasith Malinga, Amit Mishra
