Is Delhi's Odd-Even a big CNG scam? Woman who threw ink at Kejriwal claims it is

Bhavna Arora, who threw ink at Arvind Kejriwal during the function to mark the success of Odd-Even celebrations at the Chhatrasal stadium on 17 January, has alleged that there is a "big CNG scam" behind the Odd-Even formula.

Arora told ANI that she wanted to meet the Chief Minister to ask him about the scam.

"The Odd-Even rule was positive, but behind that was a big CNG Scam, of which I had a sting. That is why I wanted to meet the CM and Gopal Rai ji (Delhi transport minister), but they didn't agree to meet".

Arora also said she would present the proof of the scam in court soon. "I will submit all papers and the sting before the court. Investigation should be done in the matter," she said.

The 26-year-old woman, who claims to be a member of the Punjab unit of the Aam Aadmi Sena, was detained by the police after she waved some papers at Kejriwal and threw ink at him. She was reportedly taken to the Model Town police station for interrogation. A case was also registered against Arora.

The AAP government has charged the BJP and the Delhi Police of a conspiracy. Manish Sisodia slammed the Delhi Police, calling the ink incident a "major security lapse". "What if it had been acid?" he demanded to know, and asked if the police was "sitting in readiness to stage an attack on Kejriwal".
