The suicide note of a 21-year-old woman who was found hanging in her room at home on Thursday said that she had little faith in getting justice in a case she had filed against two policemen and a doctor for gangraping her, reports The Indian Express,

The woman had filed a case in January 2015 against Dr Gautam Pandit and constables Saurabh Bhakta and Chadraprakash Pandey for gangraping her on many occasions over a six-month period. The police had issued an FIR and arrested the two constables, while the doctor surrendered. The three are still in jail.

The woman was first gangraped in June 2014 when she had undergone treatment at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital in Supela. There, she had been drugged and raped by the doctor and constables, who had filmed the scene and blackmailed her thereafter into more gangrape incidents.

She finally filed a case against them in January 2015. She was doe to attend a hearing in the case on 2 February, but was found hanging in her room at her home when policemen arrived with the summons.

Her suicide note indicates that she might have been pressured to withdraw the case, say police sources. Her relatives had often complained of pressure in the case.
