Micromax launches Bolt Supreme, Supreme 2 with quad-core chipset under Rs 3,000

Domestic tech company Micromax has launched two new entry-level smartphones called the Bolt Supreme and the Bolt Supreme 2 at Rs 2,749 and Rs 2,999, respectively.

Both smartphones support 3G connectivity and come with a quad-core based chipset.

According to the company, these smartphones will target first-time phone buyers and students.

Specifications of the Micromax Bolt Supreme:

  • 3.5-inch display
  • 1.2 GHz Quad-Core
  • 512MB RAM
  • 4GB inbuilt memory; expandable up to 32GB
  • 2MP rear and VGA front camera
  • 1200mAh battery
  • Runs on Android Lollipop

Specifications of the Bolt Supreme 2:

  • 3.9-inch display
  • 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 4GB inbuilt storage; expandable up to 32GB
  • 2MP rear and VGA front camera
  • 1400mAh battery
  • Runs on Android L

While announcing the launch, the chief marketing officer of Micromax Informatics, Shubhajit Sen, said, "We believe that the first time smartphone buyers will fuel the growth of the category."
