Domestic tech company Micromax has launched two new entry-level smartphones called the Bolt Supreme and the Bolt Supreme 2 at Rs 2,749 and Rs 2,999, respectively.
Both smartphones support 3G connectivity and come with a quad-core based chipset.
According to the company, these smartphones will target first-time phone buyers and students.
Specifications of the Micromax Bolt Supreme:
- 3.5-inch display
- 1.2 GHz Quad-Core
- 512MB RAM
- 4GB inbuilt memory; expandable up to 32GB
- 2MP rear and VGA front camera
- 1200mAh battery
- Runs on Android Lollipop

- 3.9-inch display
- 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
- 512MB RAM
- 4GB inbuilt storage; expandable up to 32GB
- 2MP rear and VGA front camera
- 1400mAh battery
- Runs on Android L
While announcing the launch, the chief marketing officer of Micromax Informatics, Shubhajit Sen, said, "We believe that the first time smartphone buyers will fuel the growth of the category."
