Instagram finally launches chronological news feed again

It was in 2016 when Instagram removed its chronological news feed feature and the audience went mad. Since then the audience was expecting to bring the feature again. The audience was disappointed after Instagram came up with any new feature.

In a blog post published, Instagram announced two changes meant to "give you more control over your feed and ensure the posts you see are timely."

The two important changes which Instagram ensures is that the newer posts will appear first in the feed. Unlike other updates — such as linked hashtags in bios and font options in Stories — algorithmic alterations like this one are less visible.

You can check your Instagram feed to make sure that the posts appearing on your feed are the recent ones. This does not mean that Instagram has completely returned to their chronological feed but it does promises that Instagram will compromise with its own goals and what the users want.

Instagram said, "You may be surprised to learn that people miss on average 70 percent of their feeds. As Instagram has widened its platform, it has become tough to be updated with all the photos and videos people share.
