Pride of India: PM Modi tweets out individual pictures with Rio Olympics contingent

In an assertive note, PM Modi on 4 July met each and every Indian athlete representing India in the Rio Olympics 2016 which commences on 5 August.

PM Modi, in an event organised at Manekshaw Centre, interacted with the biggest Indian contingent who will visit Brazil for the summer games.

In this edition of the Olympics, the Indian side will be represented by a total of 102 athletes from 13 different sports disciplines. The previous edition in 2012 London Olympic saw 83 athletes.

Along with Ritu Rani and Deepika, PM Modi, met the whole Women's Hockey Team.

He also wished luck to the other athletes who he couldn't meet him.
