RRB NTPC results 2016: Expect updated answer keys by Sept-end or October-beginning

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Allahabad, is expected to release the updated answer keys and candidates' responses by September end or the beginning of October. It will be uploaded on RRB's regional websites, informed the Railway Board through a notification.

As a result, RRB NTPC 2016 results will be delayed. Candidates can expect it in October, 2016.

A second stage Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted by Railway Recruitment Board for various NTPC (graduate) categories. However, only those candidates who've passed the first stage of exams will be called in for the second CBT. The final rank list of candidates will be based on scores in the second stage CBT and/or result of aptitude test/ typing skill test wherever applicable.

The dates of the second CBT will be published on the official RRB website post the release of the answer keys and result.

Second stage CBT will include questions on general awareness, arithmetic, general intelligence and reasoning. Candidates need to attempt 120 multiple choice objective questions in 90 minutes.

The first stage of RRB NTPC exams were held from 28 March to 3 May, 2016. More than 56 lakh candidates appeared for it. The Railway Board has already released the answer keys and objection tracker to the papers.
